“Oh, wow! He’s pretty active, isn’t he?”
That’s a bit of an understatement… Kai now has a pretty good command over his body. He can’t quite jump with two feet but he is an excellent climber, runner, and a little speed demon on his bike. He loves playing with his friends, but is also perfectly happy playing at home. Kai may be constantly on the go but every once in a while, he’ll take a rest to watch some of his favorite programming.

It’s a question mama and daddy are asking often these days. Kai has so many more words and moves that he ever did before. His parents are having a hard time keeping up. Where he got this way of asking please, his parents will never know.
Thanksgiving 2018
Last year, Kai was too young to participate in the Thanksgiving feast. This year, we invited Jack’s family to join us. Mama made all the essentials: roast, greens, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, dressing, and giblet gravy. This year, Kai feasted… mostly on gravy and meat. The boys played so nicely together while the parents gorged themselves on yummy food.
One last thing: Date night!
Mama and daddy went on a date night this Saturday and left Kai with Papa and Gigi. Kai was happy to have both of his great-grandparents to himself while mama and daddy enjoyed a couple of drinks. :)
