It was a little rough this week.
After our so much fun time at the Maui Mall Chinese New Year celebration, mommy, great grandma, and Kai got sick. It wasn't much of a surprise since there were many little petri dishes running around. We spent much of this week doing what sick people do.

Being Miserable
By the end of the week, we were feeling much better. Kai went back to running around the house naked, per his usual.
Celebrating 3/4th of a century with Great Grandpapa
The whole family went out to celebrate Papa's birthday at The Millhouse. It was a perfect day for friends, family, food, and laughs.
He's his own person
Kai has picked up a few new talents. He holds his ukulele correctly. He's learning to play his piano. Sometimes, it seems like he's even singing when he plays! He can get his snacks out of his "spill-proof" snack cup. He barely holds on to things when he stands. He can squat and continually tries to stand from a squat. He won't stop talking. As Kai becomes more independent, his personality is starting to emerge. He's starting to become his own person. It's weird.
One last photo since there no videos this week
Ok, fine. One more. But that's IT!
