It was recovery week this week.
After all the hullabaloo of birthday party fun times, this introverted family thought they would take a break. We didn't. We kept chuggin' along learning new things, meeting friends, and playing with family. Kai has taken up a new interest in language and the social scene. Kai now goes out of his way to wave to strangers (mostly the ladies). Now that he can keep up, Kai has lots of fun playing with Cullen. He's been spending a lot of energy copying what we are saying too! Daddy has been speaking to Kai in Cantonese and now Kai repeats words back. What's most surprising this week, however, is that Kai has learned a new name.
Fun times at home
Kai enjoyed having the house back to himself. He got to do his regular routine: play with things, eat messily, nap, repeat.

Swim Lessons!
Auntie Jamie started teaching Cullen and Kai to swim! We did our first session at Baby Beach, and even though they were a little cold and easily distracted they did great. At this age, it's about being comfortable in the water. These boys are already A+ students. ;)

Miss Rory Rose had her birthday party this Sunday and Kai had a blast! All the little babies are growing up so fast. Here come the mom tears...
