Business traveler
This week has been all about getting the family business set up! Kai went out almost every day to get photos of our favorite places on Maui. That meant he spent a lot of time in his carseat and didn't get a lot of time to play with his toys or take naps at home. But when he did, Kai continued to practice new skills and sleeping in his own room.
Chomp, chomp, chomp!
Kai has been munching on his hands and fingers a lot this week. Grandma insists that he is teething already but mommy is reluctant to say it until she sees a tooth. So far, there is nothing in there. Since mommy is still nursing, she is not that interested in Kai getting teeth right now anyway. :)
Cullen's 1st Birthday
Cullen had his first birthday party this weekend! As soon as mommy walked in the door, Kai was swept up by Auntie Nia so mommy had free hands most of the party. Kai was almost as popular as the birthday boy that sometimes mommy wasn't quite sure who was holding him. Everyone had a great time and Kai fell asleep cuddling with Auntie Sesame.
Throwing fits and having a laugh
Kai is a lot more animated these days. Instead of just crying or laughing, Kai has decided to throw his whole body into his emotions. Happy or mad, Kai still makes mommy and daddy laugh.
