The world is my playground.

The world is my playground.

Kai turned 10 months this week and he is determined to walk on his own! He is now taking steps on his own without mommy and daddy's help. He's still not quite ready for his first marathon but he has been a little speed demon with his walker. Kai pretends he's fast and furious, bulldozing his way through the house with his eyes closed, crushing anything in his path (mostly poor Maddox). Besides training to be Usain Bolt, Kai has also been teething. His mouth pain has made him too extra for mommy. All he wants is boob and cuddles from mommy... all the time. But mommy knows this phase doesn't last forever and enjoys her cuddley moments with her little bug.

He's running away!
Kai is getting better and better at walking. He can even get up from a squat and walk all by himself. Mommy and daddy are pretty proud.

A few days at home
This week, we spent half the time at home in Maui and the rest of the time visiting family and friends in San Jose. Before we left, Kai stayed very busy as usual. He still destroys the house and wears mommy and daddy out. He also got love from his fans, played guitar, and had some outside time.

Park time!
Kai is now big enough to crawl around at the nearby park. He loves it so much!

Traveling with Kai
Mommy misses not traveling with a moving, screaming tiny human. Kai wasn't that difficult but he wasn't easy either. Luckily, the flight was short.

Doing all the things in San Jose
Playing with cats. Meeting family. Getting sick. Watching mommy and daddy pig out. Typical Kai things.

Since mommy couldn't put any videos up this week, here's one last photo.
