Move over, Morgan Freeman.
Boy, are we glad Kai has changed leaps and bounds from last week! He’s listening better, potty training is going well, and he is talking up a storm! Kai now walks around narrating everything he is doing and everything he sees. “Maddox, pet”, “Kai, cutting”, “arm, itch”, “come, sit, mama, Kai”, “Oh no! Mess, Kai”. He has gotten very good at picking up after himself (and others). He understands and says directional words like up, down, under, around and basic concepts of quantity like no more, one more, and two. Puzzles, shapes, colors, counting, and even learning letters of the alphabet have become big interests for Kai recently too. But before we get into what we did this week, please watch this recap of last week.
Previously, on Kai…
Mama found last week’s videos. Here they are:
Daddy time
It rained all week so mama and daddy couldn’t do their usual runs. That did mean that Kai got lots of quality time with both of his parents. Now that Kai is older, he wants to build with blocks, play with trucks, and climb the things. Mama is not super into do those things. But he has a parent who is. Also he has a parent poop preference.
Forest Friends, Unite!
Frolicking in the forest got rained out again, so Auntie Nia hosted at her place! The kids ate snacks, made valentines day cards, danced around the house, and played in water. The mama’s enjoyed each others company and change of scenery. :)
Kai. Cutting.
Kai is always in the kitchen when we cook. His new thing: cut all the things. Now mama has to give him things to cut while she is cooking.
He still takes care of his baby
Kai may be into all things cars, trucks, and dinosaurs but he still makes sure he takes care of his baby.
Another segment from “A Boy and His Dog”
This kid loves having pets and he really does a good job at taking care of them.
Lastly, they said this toy was for 3-6 year olds…
