Baby? What baby?
Woo wee! Mommy and daddy were extra busy having fun this weekend so mommy didn't have time to do a post. Instead, she spent the time playing on her paddleboard (her other baby). Kai may not be ready to play on the waves just yet, but he got to spend time watching the surf with friends and family.
It happened
You guys, he did it. He finally did it. After many, many failed attempts, he took a bath without crying. No tears. It was amazing.
He's an eater
Since this little baby had been so interested in our food for that past few weeks, mommy decided to try and give him some solids. Mommy made a little congee and pureed it with breastmilk to see if he'd like it. HE. LOVED. IT. He thinks it's a fun new activity and he loves holding the spoon and trying (unsuccessfully) to feed himself. Now mommy makes a little for him every night before his bath.
Playing with his toys
We didn't go out much this week so Kai had a lot of time to play with his toys. He has a few favorites, like his crinkle paper and his bead maze. His most favorite thing to do, however, is to hang out in his jumper. It is pretty entertaining for mommy and daddy too.
Just because mommy was a little late with the post...
