I'll take one of everything on the menu
We're finally back home after our long mainland vacation! Kai had a lot of fun meeting everyone but was ready to get home so he could play with all his things. Mommy and daddy didn't have time to notice how much he grew on our trip. Kai is bigger, stronger, heavier, and squirmier. He's not afraid to throw his weight around to reach things he wants, including our food! Mommy wanted to wait until the family got back from their trip for Kai to start solids. Now Kai eats a meal with mommy and daddy. He. Loves. It! This boy is going to be a foodie for sure!
Getting back into the routine
Traveling away from home takes it's toll on little ones. Towards the end of the trip, Kai wanted mommy's attention a lot. He missed many naps and his sleep schedule wasn't the same. This week, the family worked together to get Kai's routine back on track (with a few new modifications). By the weekend, Kai was back to playing with his toys, taking good naps, and sleeping in his own bed.

Kai wasn't really into having to wear clothes all the time on vacation. We let him hang out and soak up the sun.
