This little 4 month old.
Can you believe Kai is already 4 months old? He's not much of a little bean anymore according to his latest stats. Kai gained 4 lbs since his last checkup and is in the 98th percentile for height! He's stronger, louder, more talkative, and expressive. Kai loves being swung around and bounced up and down. He's getting more dexterity in his hands and can now pull things off of his face and put things in his mouth. His laughs and smiles are killing mommy and daddy every day because they are so cute and sweet. It wasn't long ago that he could do nothing but cry, eat, sleep, and poop. Even though Kai is growing so fast, mommy does not really miss those days (especially the multiple nighttime feedings :)).

Left in the dark
This week was very rainy so we didn't do much besides stay at home. On Tuesday, the entire island of Maui experienced a blackout and for most of the day we were without power. Mommy and daddy decided it was a perfect day for hot pot so we invited our friends over to eat with us. Cullen had lots of fun QA-ing out baby-proofness and playing with all of Kai's things. Kai was awake and not crying. Progress!

Kai an Maddox are becoming close. Really close. Mostly it's cute. Sometimes, it's gross. But mostly cute. Maddox let's Kai pet him and Kai let's him lick his drool. Symbiotic relationship, maybe? 😂😂😂

Beach day
This weekend was nice enough for a little beach day. The whole family went out and took advantage of the nice weather, including grandma!
