4 weeks going on 40 years
"Jabba the Hut, Pizza the Hut, Fat Guys Like Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza, Pepperoni Tony"
Time flies when you're sleep-deprived! Kai is now four weeks old and is walking, talking, and filling out college applications! Just jokes, he's mostly doing the same stuff: eat, poop, cry, sleep, repeat. However, he is doing one thing more than others and that's E. A. T. He's over nine pounds thanks to his constant trips to Boob Town and Formula Alley.
1 Month Celebration
Initially, I wanted to do a small breakfast at home with my grandparents to celebrate Kai's 1-month. Then I remembered I was tired. We went out for breakfast instead.
He Mostly Doesn't Like Things
We are learning more about Kai's likes and dislikes now that he is a little older. Previously, we learned he doesn't like the cold, or diaper changes, or baths, or holding his neck up himself. Kai does not likes baths but loves showers. He hates tummy time so I assume his neck will be wobbly forever. Kai loves nature walks in our back yard, especially when the sun is out. Car rides don't make him fall asleep. He likes sitting up and looking outward when he is awake but loves to cuddle in his Happy Baby wrap when he starts getting sleepy. He's also lost all patience with hiccups.
Home Life
We are homebodies who don't really like interacting with others. Here's some pictures of Kai being home or not enjoying interacting with others (and one trip to the grocery store):
He. Can't. Look. Away. because he can't control his eyes that well yet.
We Have Hour Long Conversations With Kai
No, we don't because Kai doesn't say much. He hasn't started really cooing but we have video of one coo. Here it is:
