These feet were made for walking!

These feet were made for walking!

Kai was hitting developmental milestones all over the place this week! He's got new social skills, fine motor skills, and gross motor skills! Mommy and daddy are so impressed with our little akamai bean! Like super impressed. :)

Social skils
Kai got to have a few more play sessions with Rory before she went home. They conversed about baby things, explored the house together, and Kai even tried to give her a little kiss. In fact, Kai has been giving out lots of love this week. It was too cute.

We also got him a new booster seat for the table. Now he eats his meals with us!

Fine motor skills
Mommy changed his playroom around this week so that his toys would be a little more challenging. Instead of having all the puzzle pieces on the board, mommy has put the pieces in a box so he can take them out and put them on the board himself. He's getting more interested in his pop up toy and his new car ramp.

He put the orange and blue pieces in himself. :)

Gross motor skills
Kai has really been pushing the boundaries now that he is so mobile. He loves climbing the dog stairs in Great Grandma and papa's house. He's trying to climb onto his donkey and even climbed on the jungle gym and Keokea park. But the most amazing thing he did this week was take his VERY FIRST STEPS! THAT'S RIGHT, EVERYONE! HE DID IT! He took his first steps this week! Right before Daddy went to Colorado for a week, Kai took a little baby step all by himself! It was amazing.

He's climbing everywhere. Good thing he's got a mentor to show him how. ;)

He climbed up and down all the things at the park.

He was pretty proud of himself until the dismount.

Daddy was gone most of the week so we end on two sweet photos of Kai and daddy together.
