I have so much energy these days
Ok. Mommy is really tired again. Mommy thought we were in the "all clear" with more restful nights and days where Kai plays independently. Well, human development doesn't work that way. Kai is back to being clingy with mommy but at the same time she is constantly chasing after him. He's so busy running and climbing and whining and screaming that he has very little patience for food. He has somehow turned into the most exhausting little ball of energy and yet all mommy wants to do is cuddle and kiss him all day.
Playdate, playdate, playdate
This week, mommy accidentally scheduled a playdate for Kai almost everyday. We had visitors, visits, and outdoor adventures. He played with Cullen, of course, his new friends Kaia Day and Jack, and even met Baby Ethan. He was quite the social butterfly this week.
We also played at home
Kai used to be very content working with his toys on the ground by himself. But lately, he wants to play with us or climb all the things. So mommy found some things to meet his new needs.
And we played at the beach
Mommy and daddy had to make sure this little Kamakaze daredevil didn't get swept away! He got knocked down by the waves, drank seawater, ate sand, and still mommy and daddy had to tear him away. He had so much fun! (It's time for swim lessons!)
Just for the fun of it, some extra pics!
