I'm too cool for school
Remember last week when he was scooting?! Well, he's over that. Now he's crawling! Sometimes he even tries to stand on one foot when he crawls. Did I mention he's pulling himself up?! He's trying to stand? Oh, and he's clapping. All of the sudden, Kai has decided to do all the things! Mommy and daddy are very proud of Kai but it's hard to watch our little bean change so rapidly.
Uncle Vince
Uncle Vince has been visiting all week and the whole family has been happy to have him around. Kai really enjoys the extra attention he is getting from Uncle. Uncle is even getting used to Kai's constant drooling, wet kisses, messy eating, and adventurous climbing. (Also, Kai is naked a lot and Uncle is getting used to that too.)

New toys, new skills
Now that Kai is a little older, mommy switched out a few of his toys so he could practice some new skills. He now has toys that he can push, stack, shake, roll, and pull. She even got out an object permanence toy for him to use. Mommy models how to use his toys and sometimes Kai copies her.
Finding his voice
Kai has become very vocal, especially when he is eating. Sometimes his impression of howler monkeys and seagulls is funny. Most of the time it is too loud for mommy.
Maddox
Maddox is getting used to having a rougher little bean around. Mommy and daddy continue to remind Kai to be gentle with Maddox but he is still learning. Kai is very lucky to have such a patient shiba.
