See what had happened was...
Ok, so mama was going to write a post last week but then she got busy doing other things and all of the sudden it was Monday, then Friday, then Sunday again. But we were doing a lot of stuff. Like a lot. We were social, hung with farm animals, had family beach days, and (of course) learned new things.
Jack
We saw Jack a lot these last couple of weeks. We’ve had lots of beach days, play dates, dinners and lunches with Westcott family recently. Kai and Jack have always gotten along very well. Kai loves that Jack thinks his comedy routines are hilarious. Even though Jack hasn’t decided he wants to walk yet, Kai is always willing to meet him on his level.
The O’Connors are back in town!
Rory and Rowan are visiting from California and mama has been attempting to spend every day with Auntie Kelly while they are here. Rowan is already three and mama can tell he is such an awesome big brother! He showed Kai how to feed the goats, played hide-and-seek, and was very forgiving with Kai’s terrible two antics. Rory was not super interested in playing with Kai but she did let Auntie Keisa cuddle and hold her.
We throw epic fits now
Here are some photos of Kai losing it because mama would not let him play in someone else’s sand hole. He was crying. In the sand. Naked. He dug his face into the sand. Mama tried to pick him up. He ran away. He dug his face into the sand again. He bit into the sand and looked at her while he had a mouth full of sand, wailing. Then he ate the sand again. In mama’s face. Also, his friend was there having fun.
But we can also say how old we are
That makes up for it right?
We went to the petting zoo with most of our friends (Cullen and Alden were sick)
Kai had been to the petting zoo once and he was ok with it. This time, he wanted to pet ALL the animals! He wanted to feed ALL the animals. He wanted to hold ALL the animals. He wanted to play in the water and the sand and the play houses. He was so into it. Mama is not even sure if he noticed his friends were there. She actually had a hard time keeping up with him.
We had family beach days
That’s right, dayS! It finally stopped raining long enough for us to take some weekend beach trips as a unit. Mama loves watching her boys bond in the sand and the surf.
We did a ton of other stuff
He brought chips and dip. Passed out. Created a waterfall of drool. Got his socks super dirty. Wild things. Excavator underwear. Barrel. Mama moments. He rode his bike (and fell off). He climbed trees (and fell off).
