Being brave
We were busy, busy, busy this week! Kai and mommy spend most of the day together while daddy works and she has gotten bored staying at home all day. So this week Kai and mommy braved going on errands, meeting friends and going to the beach without daddy.
But by Friday, we missed hanging around daddy so he promised us a family date. We ate pizza and ice cream and watched MegaMind while we all cuddled on the couch together. :)
First Doctor's Appointment
Daddy did take time to go to Kai's first doctor's appointment. Kai had his head and length measured and his weight taken by the nurse while the doctor took a look at the notes and checked his heart, lungs, nose, ears and skin. At 10.5 lbs and 22 inches, he is one long, lean, healthy little bean.
Another failed bath attempt...
He had so many tears his bathwater became salty.
Tummy time
He hates it. But daddy figured out that a couple of pillows make all the difference for Kai.
Beach walk
Today, we took Maddox and Kai on their first beach walk since Kai was born. We live next to Baldwin beach where there is a nice long stretch for Maddox to run off leash. After our walk, mommy and daddy took a little dip in the ocean and Kai saw his first honu (turtle).
Home life
Just hanging out. Drinking scotch. Wearing headwraps. Pouting. Laughing. Eating. Sleeping. Hiding from life.
