I'm a gentleman and a scholar.
Can this kid wear a person out, or what?! Kai is busy, busy, busy these days finding new things to get himself into. He can roll out of bed himself, he scoots to anything he wants, he eats all the things, and keeps mommy on her toes. Gone are the days of our stationary little bug on the rug! This week, Kai focused on eating, moving, and hanging out.
Eat
Mommy has so many pictures of Kai eating because she's just so surprised how much he loves it. Everyday, Kai eats with mommy and daddy. Mommy is making sure to give Kai a varied diet and he's already had many different types of fruits, veggies, nuts, and grains. He's so happy and content that mommy and daddy are often able to eat an entire meal without having to hold him!
Even though Kai eats solids, he is still primarily on the boobies. Kai knows where they are and often tries to help himself. He's a little rough.
Move
Kai is so close to be able to crawl on his hands and knees! He has been practicing all this week and mommy even saw him take a step or two this weekend. Even though he's not quite there yet, he's still a mover! When he wakes up from his naps, Kai gets off his bed and find things to play with before mommy and daddy get him. I think he is enjoying his newfound independence!
Women's March
This week Kai went to support all the strong women in his ohana at the Women's March. Kai wore his Soul Sista onesie and marched with OG and Auntie Robyn before falling asleep halfway through. Good thing mommy is super strong and was able to carry him the rest of the way in her arms.
Other things Kai did
Wore a bandana. Naked pushups. Ate sand. Slept in the ocean. Soaked his rashy junk. Survived a nuclear bomb scare. Went shopping. Accepted Frankie the Roomba. Talked to Grandma. Watched the waves. Made faces with mommy. Hung out with papa. Did other things naked.
We end with this week with bubbles.
